What adapter and App should I buy

I am new to BMW, but did a lot of coding for Audi I had. Trying to understand what adapter should I purchase and app to start coding some features.

There are many adapters as well as apps, who use what and what did you code it?

Things I want to code are:
1. easy entry
2. turn signal counter
3. exhaust flaps always open (perhaps this can be done with JB4 instead of coding).
4. Cluster control lightning

Car is M440 GC.

I've had no issues with bimmercode and a simple obd2 to ethernet cable and an ethernet to lightning cable for my iPhone.

Ditto but USB-C to ethernet (Android).

I think they were just suggesting that you can buy a cheap adapter with a cable. These are the compatible Bluetooth/wifi ones. Depending on what you want to do with the car in the future such as tuning could sway which adapter you want. Ex) MHD orange and thor pink work with XHP trans tunes. MHD black would work for MHD tunes, etc.
Also bimmercode is the most user-friendly and easy way to code things.
