Too generic. Side profile is not bad. If it weren't for the new technology and the improved interior the G80 wouldn't be a consideration. I'll wait to see what the G80 has in store and if that doesnt do it for me I guess it's time for me to seriously consider Porsche's 911 as my next car.

Lovely colour
Front grille is appalling
Looks rather ordinary in these pics for the top of the range G20, IMO

The grille is actually one of the few things I like about the car, although I can see why a lot of people don't like it.

I wonder though how many people just don't like it because it deviates from the classic BMW grille style, and would they still dislike it if it was on an Audi or a Merc? I love the classic BMW grille, but I think a bit of evolution is to be expected and not necessarily a bad thing.

And... first forum member to buy one and put aftermarket wheels on it and drop it on springs...

"Wow! I hated it at first, but that looks great!"
"Amazing!"
"Didn't think I'd like it but wow!"
Etc
Etc

Right, same here, because if a 3-Series sedan doesn't do it, the only logical choice from there is a 911, the natural competitor to a 3-Series sedan. [/SARCASM]

That grill looks like an AMG mockoff, not really a good idea.

But concerning kidney size, yes they are bigger than on the F10, but what about that Audi or Volvo in the back, the Hyundai to the right?

..they are saving the Hyundai sized grill for the G22/23 :-D

I'm personally happy with almost everything, except I think the back will take a bit of time to grow on me - who knows, it might look great in person.

The interior is light years ahead. Overall, I'm happy with the design and direction, and this makes the f30 look old and boring already.

3 series is the g20, 4 series coupe is what?
G22 I believe

The tech specs listed are not for M340i hopefully we will get a bit more grip with close to 400 hp but seems unlikely

Hmm thats a little disappointing. No wonder the m340i is xdrive everywhere, it seems like it might be a little under tired given how much power it has.

They have a 2019 330i at BMW Canada in Toronto. The design looks much better when you see the car in person but I am not a huge fan of the new rear taillight design. The rear lights on the new 5 series look much better IMO.

Here are some pics.Sorry, the picture quality is pretty crappy.

I highly doubt it. They'll save real chassis changes for the M3/M4

BMW Fat Lip

It looks like the top element is fake grill - like the massive yaw on the GT350, so I doubt it opens in the way you might hope.

But at least the design is consistent and honest. It is just as ugly from the side and it is just as ugly on the street as in the factory-released photos.

We should bet on how long it takes BMW to correct that fat lip.
