Trying BMW again - My new M340i

Had a 2013 535i m sport for about 5 months..before giving it to my F.I.L

Overall, impressed with the car after a few test drives and driving it home. I am looking forward to driving the M340i. It is already different then the S4.. when I step on the gas..the M340i goes, instead of a little lag from the S4

Said goodbye to the B9 S4 yesterday

Congrats! I've owned a few Audis and I always come back to BMWs because they just drive better. Doesn't mean Audi is a bad car, just different and not as driver focused.

Do you feel that the bimmer is genuinely the quicker and faster car? Especially considering you went with RWD

Thank you everyone. I love the color as well. I will post more pics once I get some accessories put on and tint.

Yes. So I got to know the CA pretty good and he drove me in the M340i and then I let him drive me in my car and I could totally tell a difference. When I first drove the M340i, I thought it was more of a lateral move from the S4, but after research and the last test drive.. I figured I would pull the trigger. Worse case I will just put it up on SAL or somewhere if I get tired of it. Though I doubt it. Wife said I need to last longer than 24 months on this one

Congrats brodie, really starting to dig this new orange. You should definitely black out the cerium grey parts, will complete the look immensely , imo.

Yes.. the color is amazing.. Down here is Sunny SWFL, it sure does shine, but it's not an annoying shine.

Parts are ordered.. Tint tomorrow!

Rides firmer than my S4, but I knew that going into it. Wife might not like that as much, but as I told her... it is my car

I ordered the BMW M PERFORMANCE SHADOW LINE FRONT GRILLE

From bmwpartspro. Should be here Monday.

Trying to figure out what to do with the mirrors. Wrap them, or get 330i mirror caps and paint black, or just leave them.

This is a lease, so don't want to spend too much money on it

I was on the fence about the black wheels.. thought it wouldnt give it the classy look I wanted. I am still young, but didn't want the high school racer look, but glad I did. Gives it a healthy balance

Thanks. We will see! Did say to the wife " ya babe, I will keep this all 36 months ".

It is fun to drive for sure. One corner I forgot that I didn't have Quattro any more and that got my heart going!

How are you doing mirror caps in gloss black? I just ordered 330i mirror caps primed from dealer and will have them painted to match the gloss black trim.
