Depends on your definition of "soon" is, but assuming you are talking in the next 2 weeks or something that would be very unlikely. Will never say never, but improbable.

Dinan's said they have a backorder list that I believe they're slowly but surely chugging through as parts become available.

Ordered one for my nephews car in beginning of March and still waiting. Was told late last month I was 7 in queue for the m340 exhaust and will be part of the next batch but they had a huge back log of m2c and e36 m3 exhaust that was ahead in the queue. Hopefully it will be shipped soon.

Has anyone had the Dinan exhaust installed on a 2021? Not sure if there is a difference between 20 and 21. Received our order from 3/8 on Friday and had it installed today. Driver side mid pipe fit fine but the passenger side mid pipe diameter is the same with Dinan mid pipe so it didn't fit over the oem pipe. Not very happy with the install. Had to get it expanded and pounded in for install. Exhaust sounds good though. Called Dinan but they were closed as expected on the weekend. Curious if other 21 cars had any issues. My nephews car is a 21 built on 12/20 from Mexico if that matters.

I have a 21 and just got mine installed the other day. I had the same exact issue with fitting over the OEM pipe only on one side.

Manufacturing seemed rushed. I was missing a clamp and they never blew out the exhaust before shipping. Luckily my guys had a clamp. All that is totally understandable with how everything is with manufacturing and parts right now.

The cold start rattle is pretty annoying. I know some people don't mind it or even like it. In my opinion, an $1800 exhaust shouldn't sound like there are pebbles stuck in it or a minute or two until it warms up. I'm going to try and remedy it at some point this week.

Sounds and look amazing though!

This gives me hope as I'm waiting for my order from 3/23. Hoping I don't run into this issue though

Not seeing any tickets in the system for the M340i exhaust so did either of you submit an email ticket by chance or just the one phone call after hours? If either of you have pictures of the issue please send an email over to support@dinancars.com so that it can be properly logged and investigated. I will certainly pass the information here over to production but with images, and roping in technical support, its an easier task (visual people abound here).

As far as the cold start rattle -- cold start in general is a bit obnoxious in my mind but there should not be a true "rattle". If there is you may want to ensure that the valve bracket was installed correctly. On page 8-9 of the installation document it details exactly what it needs to look like. The most important piece is probably that piece in orange and to ensure it is situated correctly.

For anyone desiring fitment on the G22 M440i. The exhaust has been confirmed to fit as of late last week. Product pages, forum posts, etc have all been updated to reflect this.

Test fitment for the platform on a variety of other goods continues and the website will be updated onces those processes have concluded.

Unfortunately didn't take any pictures during the install but I can measure the oem exhaust pipe diameter from the passenger side and forward it before taking the exhaust to storage. Only the passenger side pipe didn't fit. Everything else was fine. No cold start rattle on my nephews car.

I only tried calling once but you guys were closed. We needed a solution at the spot since we didn't want to put the oem exhaust back on till we heard back from you guys. If its already installed and there are no pictures you don't need to bother at this point. If anyone else has similar issues though please take some photos and submit a ticket for posterity. Regardless, let production know to double check that pipe on subsequent build runs and for anythign currently waiting to go out the door. Hopefully it was just someone forgetting to expand that end is all for a limited few. Shipped a number of them recently though so we should find out soon enough if it is a more widespread occurrence.
