ZTK package track usage.

Has anyone who has the ZTK Cooling and HP Tire Package tracked their car?

I am planning on attending a few track events this spring and am curious how the brakes hold up.

Are you swapping the pads to something other than stock? I don't have the ZTK package, though I did a HPDE weekend last year and the stock M Sport front pads went from ~80% to tripping the wear sensor at the end. Rears still have some life left. I imagine the ZTK pads would have the same issue.

I always bring extra pads but that is an important reminder.

What track and how many sessions?

Autobahn (South), eight ~25 minute sessions. Did it with the Windy City BMWCCA and will be doing it again this year in May.

Copy cat! That is the 1st event I am looking at.

It has been a while since I did a track day, plus this is my daily driver G26, so I won't be pushing it and plan on running in Novice for this event.

That should limit wear a bit.

That was my plan too, but my instructor pushed me hard. Novice as well, though I'd say most could be running intermediate. Lots of different cars and good instructors. Definitely recommend.

I did one track night in America event over a year ago with the ZTK. I’m still on my same brake pads at 43k miles.

I was out at NJMP in ZTK recently at Thunderbolt in a grueling 90F+ heat and car performed really well. Considering this being completely stock but with ZTK I wish it had a bit wider tires and more camber up front. Nothing few mods can't fix, but that'll come later. Right now still getting familiar with the car.

1:38.88 was the best I could lay down until I destroyed the front tire and my weekend was over.
