ZTK package track usage.
Has anyone who has the ZTK Cooling and HP Tire Package tracked their car?
I am planning on attending a few track events this spring and am curious how the brakes hold up. |

Are you swapping the pads to something other than stock? I don't have the ZTK package, though I did a HPDE weekend last year and the stock M Sport front pads went from ~80% to tripping the wear sensor at the end. Rears still have some life left. I imagine the ZTK pads would have the same issue.

It has been a while since I did a track day, plus this is my daily driver G26, so I won't be pushing it and plan on running in Novice for this event. That should limit wear a bit. |

I did one track night in America event over a year ago with the ZTK. I’m still on my same brake pads at 43k miles.

I was out at NJMP in ZTK recently at Thunderbolt in a grueling 90F+ heat and car performed really well. Considering this being completely stock but with ZTK I wish it had a bit wider tires and more camber up front. Nothing few mods can't fix, but that'll come later. Right now still getting familiar with the car.
1:38.88 was the best I could lay down until I destroyed the front tire and my weekend was over. Last edited by ztkm340; 08-29-2024 at 10:06 AM.. |
