Hello. Do you know something about Munich factory Shut Down in August due to holidays ? Mine g21 stuck into 155 status - quality check and I’m wondering about holiday delays. Unfortunately, for orders in Europe we do not have access to the same monitoring as in the USA.

Mine was scheduled for this week in the Munich factory but apparently it was built early, dealer said they expect the car to arrive at the dealership next week. Crazy quick. My dealer does seem to have a decent ability to track orders, I suggest you contacting yours for more information.

I’m just curious online when you track your build, when do you get the actual estimated date? Is it one day? A week? More?

You won’t get an actual date unless you decode the page or use an extension. The info is embedded in the webpage. Typically, when it’s scheduled for production there is already a build date attached. If you can’t decode it or use the extension, you could always contact Genius or the dealer to get the date.

Any idea if the CraftedClarity glass knobs are an option on US builds? I've seen pictures, and feel like they elevate the overall cabin and make it look more luxurious. Not sure if anyone on here has inquired about this option with their dealer. Also, is there still a way to get a European build of this car? I know there used to be a way to get one simply by ordering certain options on the car. I'm hoping there's no build quality difference based on where they're built.

Just placed an order for 2025 M340i XDrive, this is replacing my cancelled 2024 model. Looking forward getting it in 6 weeks or so. Sterling BMW in VA was great. These guys are doing great job to help their customers gave me discount I was looking for.

Hi everyone,

Just had confirmation that my M340i Touring in Dravit Grey has landed in Southampton after ordering it on 13th June. Fully loaded apart from the crystal & galvanic controls and tow-bar. Didn’t have any choice of the spec as it’s a ‘new-for-old’ one bought by my insurance company after the last one was stolen after just 3 weeks 🤦🏻‍♂️. Very much looking forward to the idrive 8.5. Not long now!

Mine was on Final Assembly for about a day before it moved to Ready for Transport, and now it has been "being prepared for transport" since the 8th, so for the past 11 days now

I've read elsewhere on this forum that it could be in this status (or the Awaiting Carrier Assignment status) for even as long as 4 weeks. I've also read that sometimes the statuses aren't always updated right away, and when they are updated they can jump a couple steps at once

I haven't bothered calling BMW NA though for a more detailed update

What kind of discount did your dealer give you? Mine told me they couldn't go below MSRP on a custom build

Around 5.5% including BMW company discount voucher, which is $1000 for 3 series. Some dealers will not give any discount. I want to different dealer before and they said buying price is MSPR. Try to find large dealership far from city they try to sell large volume of BMWs and trend to give better price.
