Wheel and Tire Check
So I’m looking to upgrade the stock wheels on my G26 and have spent the past few days using the calculators, checking Apex guide, etc. because I don’t really understand much about the measurements/metrics surrounding tires/rims.
But, with all that Googling, I think I settled on a combo that strikes a good value. Before I pulled the trigger though, I wanted to get a gut check on fitment. Not lowered yet, but planning to go with coilovers. Stock M-Sport brakes with no plans on changing out. Thanks! |

And what are some brands you recommend that don’t break the bank? Trying to stay away from dropping $2k+ on wheels. |

The cheapest high quality wheels are probably going to be Apex, SM-10. They tend to have specials during holidays. I would wait for Black Friday special where they are typically 20% off.

Yeah I was looking at the SM-10s, but they don’t come in 18x9 like the VRS-5s do, which is the size I was trying to stick with. But admittedly that’s based on a perceived performance difference between 18” and 19”.
