Afaik you'll also be able to send your key remotely to another person's compatible phone, which could be a useful thing. It just depends on your use cases really.

Not to be argumentative but what do you miss about it?

I use Apple Wallet for as much as I can. Everything from actual paying, food store loyalty card, airline tickets, movie tickets, etc. Assuming the tech continues to be good and secure it sure makes life easier and more organized.
