Wait to see the 4 on the streets folks. The car looks stuning for me. Wide with mighty back. All in all huge grill is the right one for 4 series.

Stunning is not a word I would ever associate with the 4. If you like it, fine. But stunning??

I think we all know the ratio will end at least 4:1 in favour the 3 series. That grill was definitely designed by Xi ping ping

why the hell they couldn't keep the same headlight design and the same hoodline? the 4's hoodline just looks so out of place and simply BAD

Yeah in UK, on G20 shadowline and black wheels go together....wheels, mirrors, grille. Such a pain.

I'm going to be more specific. The G20, but not the G22, is where it's at. Also, I'm still in the camp of not liking how they connected the lights to the grilles on the F-chassis/gen.

I really like the G20 in these shots. This is how they should've made the G22 (and, I'm assuming, G23).

When looking at this pictures, it's hard to imagine the g22 is not as tall as the g20... it's quite a bit lower too and "should" look wider and sportier. But it's not the case because of the shape of the tall grill which makes it look like a SUV and makes the car look tall. The hood line on g22 is a step backward to the F gen also which is unfortunate.... Ha well that's the price to pay to sell this in China I guess..

Audi did this years ago and people were complaining back then. I thought it was beautiful. I guess they softened it up a bit by putting a slat in the middle.

In reality that's what it SHOULD have looked like. I'm still not in love with the 4 as a whole, but at least it puts it in even space with the G20 from front facia design (whether you like the G20 front clip or not).

It appears whenever there is new body style that is "different" or "progressive" than the normal BMW people simply hate it and trash it. Just wait until people warm up to it. Sales with sky rocket like always.

I kind of understand BMW's dilemma here. They want to branch out and make it look different but they branched out too far. At the same time, if they didn't change the grill significantly then are they playing it too safe?

To illustrate this point, if you look at a baseline 4 series with the G20 grill, it's boring as hell:

And yet it's still better than the leaked pics of the base G22.
