interested in seeing the m340i version cause maybe they saved it with that, because jeez... those two black plastic bits that jut out on either side of the lower front grill look like early prototype stuff they just left on, and the rear diffuser is comically sized
lights look a bit generic and not BMW but objectively look fine |

Blue should be the laser light option.. my G80 has blue accents like that in the headlights.

No, that's the 330i (ICE). The blue is most likely the Laserlight indicator (current assemblies have them as well).

BMW Designers might have been inspired from MK7 GTIs which also had a red line in the bottom of headlights.

I like this front end design direction. The G8X LCI needs to start with this front bumper and kidney grills as a base and add the typical M aggressive body work. Please BMW, ditch the current nostrils!!!

I don't think the updates are bad, you could have got the huge grill so be thankful.
The rear is little more than a tweak moving to the M-lite exhaust to all the range with is the same as they have done on the X3 same with the reflectors going up the sides. The front and lights are tweaks. The interior will be double screen setup that has already appeared in things like the 2AT and higher. Will be interesting to see which if any of these are M-sport vs SE. |

I think the car looks better in black, a dark color helps hide the lower rear better. But overall not a bad looking car. I'd buy one for my kid or something like that.

These cheap, plasticy non-body-color rear "diffusers" are pretty gross.
