I owned the M340i and was bored with it after 4 months and got lucky with the whole supply situation to get out of it after 9 months. Worst BMW I owned. That includes e30, e46, e9x, 120d (in Europe), f30, f80, f87.
I enjoyed the f30 (335i) over the g20 though the f30 was the 6MT as all other (minus the 120d) above…

I feel these cars have just about run their course... or sedans like this in general. If I didn't have a full blown M car... absolutely no chance I'd get this over an X3 M40i... which is far more practical and almost as fast.

I came from an F82, so I'm aware of the differences.. but I made some "mods".. which help to liven it up. No, im not trying to track it, but for street DD it works… until the chip shortage comes to an end.
My plan is to build a proper M , hopefully in 2 years.
