If I remember correctly BMW is getting rid of the Laser Light option across their entire lineup.

On a separate note though I just ran through the configuration for shits and giggles and I can't believe that on a $60,000+ model like the M340i that ventilated seats aren't even an option.

Makes sense....the blue elements in the housing are deceiving, as that's previously indicated laser lights.

The blue elements do look fantastic however, even if they're "only" led's!

Anyone know if the "19" M Lt/Aly wheels double spoke 792
M Bicolour Jet black / sport tyres and MT" wheel setup (code 1G2) is non-run flats? I know by picking that option it auto picks up the Cooling and Hire Performance tire package but not sure if that's just bigger brakes or if it's bigger brakes and a mobility kit (which I presume would mean non-run flats).

Nice! I’ll be getting mine fully loaded like you. My dealership has me down for the first allocation they get. I’ll be curious to see how long yours takes to build. Are you thinking August delivery?

My 22 model has been pushed back to order received, and I’ve been told that I will be receiving a 23 model instead. When I go online I see that it is still stuck as a 22 model order received. Is there something manual my advisor needs to do to push it over to 23? Or do I just need to wait

What's the rationale of phasing out laser lights? I thought that was the next step forward after LEDs? Unless it's related to the US antiquated regulations but even then I thought that was addressed relatively recently ?

According to BMW it was both. The US laser lights were a cut down version of the EU spec because of regulations and supposedly the Matrix LEDs have a better cost to performance. Apparently Audi got rid of their laser light options too.

Dropping by the dealer tomorrow for my end of lease inspection and hopefully placing an order for a 340, any help with options suggestions is greatly appreciated, it will be my 3rd BMW, first time ordering tho so first time I'm choosing options based on a screen other being able to physically be in the car and see what is actually equipped. This same thing happened to me, I had to go over the options again, because there are some changes. The price increased so you will also have to agree to that.

BMW will try and match options/features but this may end up with something you do not want/like, you should go over everything with your CA so he can modify the build.

Welcome to the forum. That is the going price in this market, just be glad they are not charging a markup. Depending on timing you may get lucky and get a small discount but wouldn't count on it.

The only real way to experience the colour is to see it in the flesh I think. The configurator will look different between monitors too.
