Why is the AC always on when turning the car on

I have a 2023 m340i with the new display. Everytime the car turns on the AC turns on as well. This rather annoys me and I have not figured out what the setting is for this. Someone please tell me there is a solution for this!

My guess is someone programmed to turn on automatically upon a certain temperature. Should be able to change that in idrive settings.

Hate it as well...bimmercode doesn't work (that I know of) unfortunately :/

I am unsure if this will work, but have you tried turning off pre-conditioning? It should be under the Remote Start option.
