Exhaust Tips

Hello guys!

I have a question, so I want to buy my 2024 M340i some exhaust quad dips but im not sure on how this would work since my car is fully stock. I’ve seen some people do a muffler delete so I’m a little confused. If you guys can please help! That would be awesome!

Was planning to get these:

I'd get these ones. Not the ones which those locking nuts or whatever they are called. I used to have those ones and they constantly came loose. https://infiniteautowerks.com/shop/e...tips-clamp-on/

Because they also have these which are more expensive due to them having the clamps at the end. I sent them a message and they say they recommend this one due to it being more secure not sure if that could be true

They are cheaper on Infinite Autowerks website. Don't spend $400 on exhaust tips. I have the ones I linked and they work 10 times better than the other ones.

I've had the locking nut ones on for about 2 years and the never came loose once. I am replacing them with the Infinite Autowerks ones because the black chrome finish is fading off and I want to try the clamp style. I will say the locking nut ones are a pain to get aligned perfectly and the top bolt is near impossible to put on, but once they're on they will stay.

So you would much rather recommend to get the ones from infinite auto works?

The black stainless ones from IAW are my favorite. the clamp method is very easy to install. No frills, just quick and easy on. I used to have the ali set screw style and took hours to line up properly and I never felt they were perfect. The finish on them also came off they rusted. waste of money honestly.

The IAW appear to be e-coat vs the ali were painted. the IAW finish on the black stainless matches the OEM BMW black tips so I am very happy about that. Only time will tell now. IAW also emailed me telling me all new tip orders are shipping with updated stronger clamps. I ordered them as I felt the originals were not as strong as I would have hoped. new clamps solve all my complaints now.

Defintently. I had the ones with the locking screws before and currently have the IAW ones. IAW gets my vote.
