Engine blew up on my B46 R.I.P.

Just paying respects to my engine as my dumbass decided to tune to stage 2 without proper bolt-ons outside of downpipes. Sounded good and was fun and torquey but advice to anyone looking to tune, invest in proper air control as my shit apparently overheated, although some blame I reckon to the tuning company I used.

Edit - Like fuel used, which tuning company, miles on the engine before tuning, miles you put with the tune, driving style etc etc

I was guessing troll too but he does have past posts mentioning modifications he planned to do to his car.

I'm now assuming he just doesn't know exactly what caused his engine to blow. If someone is going to go stage 2 without the proper bolt ons then they likely are a bit naive to what goes on under the hood. Poor guy, hopefully he finds a solution.

Oof forgot I made this post, for details wise,

Made around 340~ HP with downpipes stage 2 from a company called Project'A, around 14k miles on the engine with it being tuned for around 9k and stage 2 for about 5k miles. Blew up when I came to a standstill interestingly and started a death rattle as combustion chamber #1 blew up. The main reason for blowing was due to flames.

I've actually considered getting a tune from them. I'm also in LA/ SFV and they are a local tuning shop here. The thing with them is that they tune a little too hardcore and as a result the car blows up. Its not the first time that this has happened with one of their cars. They take no responsibility for what happens after the car leaves their shop.

Honestly, to anyone else in this area just stick with Gintani or any other tuners.

340 wheel with no dyno meaning extrapolated based on vehicle weight + acceleration figures from logs ?

mate you really need to provide a bit more info instead of just a few tidbits over the course of weeks/months

you mention overheating, blowing up due to flames, and that's about it ...

no mention of what actually failed, what boost you were running, any logs whatsoever, like comeon

you don't have a single picture or supporting info of any kind so the rest of the forum users can know what to watch out for (if that is your goal, assuming you're not posting this for the "loss porn")

what timing, octane, a/f ratios, boost, etc.

And damn. 340 to the wheels is a lot if all the engine hardware is stock. Like no forged parts.
