Yep, I'm afraid to ask how much it costs. You can definitely go down the rabbit hole with that; colors for individual seat components, stitching, custom trim, etc.
I was quoted $5k for tartufo. That's a little splashy for the interior of a 3 series IMO. The cognac is lovely with the Tanz, and close enough - if not as supple.
Here cognac was 2.5k and Tartufo 3.8k iirc. For me an additional selling point was stitching and black lower dash. It's all personal preference but I would've dropped the tan leather setup completely if I had to have the color everywhere...I'd get rid of it on the doors if I could as well
I'm a fan 🤷🏼

Every time I second guess my color choice I get the car out on a sunny day and fall back in love. On a side note I've never paid so much attention to keeping the door sills perfect as I have with this car

Tanzanite Blue / Oyster G22

Sharing some new photos of my Tanzanite Blue M440i taken yesterday on a drive, just shy of breaking in. Simply marvelous in all aspects, performance, techs, fuel consumption, etc.

This is peculiar, I've not seen canberra beige or oyster seats without the lower dash being the same color

I noticed that too. Wonder if it's a parts issue. Seems to be the case for about everything else.

I don't think that's lighting. The lower dash is typically Oyster or Cognac with the respective interior colors. This one clearly looks black to me.

Here's an example from a local dealer that has a car with the Oyster interior:

OP is in Canada. Canadian G20/22s don't get matching lower dash with the seats for whatever reason.

Check out my new 3-Series

The detailers missed one or two little things, but here's my new girl, all dressed up.

Good to know. Really weird/interesting how BMW determines this stuff across markets.

I agree. However, I specifically preferred the dash on mine to be all black instead of the usual 2-tone, which depends on the seat leather colour interiors.

And in Canada, we can either order it this way by optioning #4M5 which is for "Walknappa Leather Dashboard" for Cdn$800. Or in my case, this stock unit came with what I had orig ordered which is the "Premium Excellence Package", available here in Canada which pretty much loads the car up to almost everything. All except for M Enhanced Track Package ($950), Adaptive M Suspension ($600), M Carbon Exterior Package ($2500) which are extras.

The Nappa Leather Dashboard is much softer and has a finer, classier texture to the regular Leatherette or Sensatec material. You can see from one of the picture with the Trip Data, how much smoother the Nappa leather dash is.

Having said that, I've also seen some G20/G21 in showrooms here with the 2 tone dashboard on Oyster and Cognac if the Walknappa #4M5 isn't optioned.

And it's true, how BMW creates different options for different markets this way.

That's cool. We don't have the Nappa dashboard as an option in the US. Would be nice, as well as the M Sport seats that some other countries get as well!

You guys think its worth getting the gloss black rear and diffuser if you have the shadowline trim or does it not make enough of an impact? I'm thinking of doing that with either the cf spoiler or gloss black spoiler upgrade. Unsure how much of a fan I am of the grey trim that comes standard. Unsure if the cf diffuser really pops out either.

Its 1000% the lighting. There is a light source on the passenger seat. They wouldn't mix up interior colours like that.

It's not the lighting. He stated that Canada has different dash options than the US. His lower dash is clearly black, while his seats are oyster. In the US, the only option we have with the oyster seats is an oyster lower dash. That's why I was confused, as I had never seen the color combo he had before.

Yeah, so apologies, we’re obviously taking about totally different things. I was talking about this photo. Tan dash, tan seat. My mistake
