New M340i picking up next week..

Had a Test drive of a m340i and 128ti to coincide with the end of Warrenty and MOT of my 440i gc. End result, no contest. 1 series is not for me. Too fidgity a ride and the boot is too small for golf gear.
How solid are these g series cars. Taut yet supple. What a power train these cars have. Smirk inducing and even in the pissing down rain, the power was transferred straight into the road. Awesome kit.

Any hoo, a good Deal was done on a stock mineral white M340i that was in the show room. More options that I would have built myself as it was typical High showroom spec. But after good negotiations I ended up with a discount that meant I paid for very few of them.
Vis pack, tech pack, comfort plus pack, shadow
Line plus, m seats (bloody awesome) piano black (not so awesome).
Pick up is next Sunday and I can't wait.

Nice motor and nice spec. You could swap out the Piano trim when it inevitably fills with loads of scratches with trim from a scrapper or even wrap it. Laser lights are awesome.

Strange how the dealer describes the model as “340i M Sport” on the number plates rather than M340i!

The cynic would say they had them left over from their F30 demonstrator…

Quick update.
Timeliness brought forward. Friday afternoon now.
I did get a shock last night however.
The car insurance for the M light..
Current 440i gc is around £360 and had just gone thru 7th May. Same insurer (AA) wants £930. Back into the caparison site shows a best of around £630.

Have you tried Direct Line? They're quoting me £560 fully comp for my G21 M340i and Mrs JNW1's Cooper S and that splits £338 for mine and £222 for hers (both with £300 excess).
