I'm using Corvette Guy as my model. He never takes the bait, pulls away smoothly and brisk, no fuss.
I didn't get the M3 for its stoplight prowess and if and when I experience judicial intervention, it won't be for that.
Oh the Super Duty people just get triggered by washed M3.

Where I live (Canada) most people in nice or fast cars give a thumbs up, wave or nod to my car and I reciprocate.

The people that most often try to race are actually in older last gen BMWs. (Modded 335i or 340i cars)

I don’t partake. Save that for the track.

Now, there may be some of the "if you bought that car you must want to drive hard, let's go!" but there's no "my P Car is better than yours and I'm going to show you". It's all about the camaraderie of owning a very cool car regardless if it's a base boxster or a GT3RS. We have frequent meet ups and drives with all types of cars and owners, and we drive the cars hard, and when we park and BS, you can tell everyone just really enjoys getting together and talking about their experiences. But from what I gather, this is definitely not the case everywhere.

We’re talking about stock cars. With enough money, anything can be 800hp. As for B58 and S58, they have different internals. And the Supra is ugly AF.

Also, nobody said the B58 and S58 are exactly the same internally. All I said was that they are almost as good for tuning. And again, nobody said the Supra wasn’t ugly lol so what does that add to the conversation lol.
And there's no guarantee it's not stock. You making so many assumptions about what a driver has done to their car. Most of these cars on the road are not modded. The ones that are usually have a piggyback tune and/or minor mods like exhaust. Extremely unusual to encounter an 800hp supra on the road wanting to race. Cheap and easy isn't 800hp. 800hp is often an engine swap or major upgrades like turbos.

You said "The A90 Supra is an insane car. Almost 400whp stock at 3300lbs." Not true and 400whp wouldn't be insane in my book. You also said "the B58 is almost as good as an S58 tuned". I said they "they have different internals". The reality is that they are really apples to oranges. Nothing wrong with the B58, but it's not in the same league.

I have followed the same philosophy. I have at least one high performance car in my stable most times. Regardless of what it is, I don't fuck around unless I know it will be a challenge and I am not going to kill someone else in the process.

What I have noticed is BMW on BMW hate in the form of ridicule and pissing contests on BMW fan forums. More BMW on BMW crime happens on this forum than any other car brand I have ever owned. On the street, maybe we race, maybe we don't. In the end we are two people who enjoy our cars. On the BMW forums though...."Is that a spelling mistake? HAHAHA you uneducated fuck, fuck you and I hope you get hit by a bus, fuck Teslas"

It is pretty ridiculous albeit sometimes entertaining.

Hopefully not this side of Houston.....WTF is wrong with people?

Let's be real. Why do you all own a BMW? A BMW is a sign of achievement for some, a virtual dick to swing for others. I am betting most of you will say "Oh yeah I like the build quality and its a safe reliable car. I mean you get what you pay for"....Pfft. Some might hate the flexing but you are in most cases the "biggest dude in the prison yard". The trophy they can laugh about knowing they paid $50,000 less than you. The justification they need to show that even though they cannot afford a real M, they can still run with the big dogs. This might not be the case for you guys/gals but the majority of BMW fuckery, at least that I have seen, comes from a section of owners who I like to refer to as "Hand Me Down Henrys". These are the young kids who have acquired a BMW without earning it. For example, parents buying a new BMW and instead of trading it in, hands it down to the their kid. Or the buy here pay here crowd who are just in it for the letters. 30 percent over 7 years on a 90k mile M3? Sign me up!!! And 8 times out of 10, M shit all over it.

I guess. Where the hell are all of these older gen Chargers and Challengers coming from and why the hell do they love them so much. All I see is 90s sticky plastic. Ugh

Plus, what are you on about? Nobody engine swaps A90 Supras. FYI, B58s are hitting 800hp with stock turbos. Google it.

Next, what is not true about Supras making near 400whp stock? Learn to use google again, or at least know what you are talking about before your start spewing nonsense.

And it’s fine to feel how you feel about B58 vs S58. But just don’t be surprised when a 340i or a Supra blows off your doors.

338whp not 400whp -https://burgertuning.com/collections...0-toyota-supra

Only one guy is claiming ridiculous dyno numbers and he's in Colorado. That elevation makes his claim even more absurd. The traps times of these cars stock do not support this power.

And as for the stock B58 turbo hitting 800hp, what are you smoking? You can't take a stock turbo that makes 382bhp and just turn up the boost indefinitely until you make more then double the stock output. Members on this forum are running close to 23psi and only making another 100hp. This turbo doesn't flow enough air to hit that number.

Here's your 800hp supra. Upgraded turbos, nitrous, and running ethanol:
https://www.thedrive.com/news/37107/...d-quarter-mile

Another close to 800hp car. Also a turbo swap:
https://www.motor1.com/news/380784/t...a-770-hp-dyno/

Over 700hp. Turbo swap:https://www.pureturbos.com/product/t...upgrade-turbo/

Here's an A90 swap that you said doesn't exist:

And from our very own bimmerpost:

Yes, I can google

find more if you would like.

you are correct that 600whp(roughly 700hp) is the stock turbo limit. i was off 100hp. as far as swaps, yes there are show cars that swap anything into anything. but nobody actually swaps A90s to actually use like they do LS into Miata, rx7, etc.

so i’ll take the L on the 800hp. But if we reframe, 3300lbs and a stock 380whp up to a conservative 500whp with FBO and corn, that’s still insane in todays current competition.
I looked but didn’t even see an example where a stock turbo makes even 600hp on a B58. I just don’t see how that’s possible knowing how turbo chargers work.

Like I said in my post, a simple ecutek, dp, and e40 tune and a Supra is going to be really competitive on the street against a g80 comp. Put some proper rubber and a few spl bits and you are going to have trouble keeping up with one the track too. All for tens of thousands less than a g80. Weight matters. You originally complained about the specs but I’m still now sure how the specs are bad for a 50-60k car? Sure it has compromises in other areas and a g80 is a superior overall car, but they are kinda different segments all together.

I bought my ‘22 M3 as it’s one of the last manual transmission true performance sedans you’ll be able to buy. The CTS-V Blackwing was the other option which I seriously considered (I owned a manual CTS-V Wagon) but the M3 won out for me.

I posted a few pages back but had to add to my list of flexes. Today I had a new (dealer plate) Kia K5 rush through traffic to catch up to me. Figured maybe wanted to give a thumbs up like I've experienced many times before. He pulled up right behind me aggressively, then along side me and didn't even look my direction. Then accelerated quickly pass me to pull in front of me for no reason.

I didn't bite. I let him do his thing. It was Wolf Grey (nardo color) and thought it was a sharp looking vehicle.
