30 years apart!

Took delivery of the 330e this morning - registered 30 years after my other 3 series!

Agree, great looking G20... and the growth in size.

G20 is bigger than if an E28 5-series (of the E30 period) was parked next to the E30.

Looking forward to reading some comparisons.

Lovely pics!

The old 3 series is an absolute classic of BMW design that got me hooked on the brand nearly 30 years ago. I wonder how the G20 will compare to a future 3 series in a similar photo 30 years from now?

I think the 7 of the era would be more the size! A friend has an E28 and its much smaller than you think!!

Yes agree. The E23 is a bit longer than the G20, but wheelbase is shorter and width is less. How cars grow!

My father used to run E23 7-series models, many years ago. I was running an E12 at the time, thought the 7-series was far too large. I now run an F11 5-series which is much bigger than the old Sevens.
