Connected App outage?
Not once has the BMW Connected app worked for me since I set it up two weeks ago after getting the car. Tried reinstalling the app, removing and adding the car, updating services, restarting iDrive, etc. Cell connections are fine.
BMW Assist told me they have an outage with no ETA. Last info in the app is from 11/4 (the day I added the car to the app) and none of the functions are working. Is it just me? |

BTW, dealer might be the prob. I think there's some data entry needed from that end so system knows the car is in service. *Webpage used to give same functionality as fone app. Changed some time back to a pure marketing page ... which is totally useless. |

If you hold the stereo power button for 30s to reboot Idrive, you can get connected app to update. It won’t update again unless you do the same reset procedure again. Was working fine for weeks and then stopped around Oct 20 for me. |

Same here. Called BMW Assist and they created a ticket for me a week ago. Still nothing - tried all of the thing above. Last update in the app stuck on 11/01

Called BMW Assist today to ask about this since mines is still stuck on 10/20. They told me its a known issue and there is a ticket out on this. Its been a couple week since its been addressed, and no ETA.

I feel your pain, same issue here, app not updating, remote services not working, tried every troubleshooting trick I could find, nothing works.

I've had 100% failure on updates since at least 11/18. I'm was out a month when I first got the car back in June. I've just had it with this part of the car.

Didn't experience any problems up till today. App asked for credentials and I'm unable to log on again.
