Looks like bucket seats which will not be standard. They do look nice but also kind of cheap knock off vs competition, maybe just the pic quality.

Dream on; those seats will never meet stringent North American side-impact requirements, maybe in Europe they might.

The US consumers are for sure getting a different version of those seats.

I have better idea... for US market only concealed carry. Lol
Get in the car and store it right there. Always close and ready to use

Maybe the seats are an option like the racing seats for the F8X GTS?

In the the US after 2007, that's a positive no:

Ya, I'm not seeing how they would interfere with side impact airbags.

The bags are inside the seat, no the door panel.

There is no side-air bags built in on any racing-style seats.

It could be a clip for the 5 point or its the toggle for seat adjustments.

These are like the early recaros you had in the slant nose. Omg. This car will be a beast.

Fine, you win; the US will get racing seats, exactly like they did with the US-spec E46 M3 CLS and M4 GTS

Do the bugatti grill look ugly? Maybe BMW will look similar.
So far M8 looks alright, the 1 series looks alright, so aside from bigger I don't see them being as ugly as we fear.

He's not wrong tho... look at the carbon bucket seats in the Porsche gt3/gt4/gt2rs etc. available for the US market. BMW already makes perfomance seats with side impact airbags. Plus, these seats look very similar to the AMG performance seats and optional buckets in the Guilia QF. I'm thinking these will be available in the US as a $2500+ option.
