Just got my car back from the dealership after 4 weeks of warranty work and I had the car returned with a software update 11/2021.61. Previously I was on 03/2020.50 I believe.

I have a Remus CatBack sports exhaust on the car and it used to pop a lot when over 3000 RPM and it used to be quite loud, now it doesn't. Car seems to be quieter in general too.

The bug with sports display has been fixed on the heads up display.

I haven't noticed anything else, let me know if there's anything else that has changed!

So far not pleased with the exhaust sound, I'm hoping it's because my car hasn't been driven in 4 weeks rather than BMW reducing the sound and pops..

Them darn /21 updates ruining cars. My Dinan exhaust used to pop when I was on 11/2020, but I was updated to 3/2021 and lost most of that. You can definitely get it back after driving the car very "spiritually", but still sucks it's more of a reach. I'm hoping the AA downpipe brings something back to the exhaust once I get it installed

Yeah it's crazy.

The car sounds quieter in every aspect. Even when just accelerating. It's crazy.

I also done two 0-60 runs yesterday and got 4.07 seconds both times, where previously I've gotten 3.89 seconds before the update.

I have the latest iDrive too after my car was gone for 4 months following a minor fender bender (thanks, global parts shortage).

I've noticed that the Personal Assistant is slightly faster now. The new News app is also a welcome addition with actual podcasts rather than just headlines, though that may be available for earlier iDrive versions.

Also, not sure if it's an iOS thing or new iDrive thing, but I can now send text messages and reply to text messages via iPhone using Personal Assistant rather than CarPlay or Siri.
