Strange, when I contacted BMS and told them I have MPPSK on my 340i they said it doesn't matter as their system adds more boost on top of whatever the car has.

It’s my understanding that the 2020 M340 has come from the factory with a more aggressive/less restricted tune AND possibly a better turbo than the 2019 model.
Thoughts?
Either way, I was looking at the JB4 and JB+ to spice it up even more. I connected with a guy from Burger and he explained that the JB+ wouldn’t even move the needle since the factory tune is so much better this year. He said that I’d have to use map 2 on the JB4 to see any gains.

That being said, if I’d have to be at map 2 to see anything, what kind of overall gains can I expect? I have no plans for any other upgrades at this time.

Thanks in advance for any help!

In case you didn't see this in the other threads here's a dyno from earlier today - first pull is stock with the exception of 1 gallon of e85 mixed with Cali 91 / other pulls are with Mission Performance flash

Im curious about the JB4 as well. I have picked one up, but i'm not sure if i can safely put it on the car. Its my first bmw/turbo car as well. However i do see someone who has tried it here, there is just not much information.

The only available flash for the M340 presently is by Mission Performance, orginal thread is here:

But I'm sure you've figured that out by now given the fact that it's only a couple topics down from this one :-)

Some are trying the old F30 340 spec'd JB4's on their G20 M340's

Try a powerbox from Ventura, it’s plug & play and you can uninstall if you need and will come back to standard settings when disconnected.
The M340I will go to 425hp and 600Nm

Anyone have experience with both boot mod3 and jb4 on a previous 340?? Curious as to which route to go with. Really interested in mission too as they're not too far away from me but I've also heard boot mod3 is available now and those gains seem pretty significant as well. Do all three share the same reliability/support/gains/etc.? Was mostly a show not go guy but the projected gains from these tunes seem to good to not look into for the price.

Apparently it is possible to do a manual swap as well.
