Are the tri-color seatbelts standard on the M340i?

I noticed in a lot of reviews for the 2020 M340i that they have the seatbelts with the BMW tricolor on one end.

Is this supposed to be standard? My 2020 M340i has all black seatbelts and I don't recall there being an option on the ordering guide for the tri-color seatbelts.

BTW- I do have the Black Vernasca Leather with the Blue Stitching on my car.

Maybe it's an accessory. That was a press car could be just that specific pre production model and it is the same car you're seeing in all the reviews.

Not an option in the US. Here they reserve those for the M Competition models.

Last time I checked the U.K. was still in the EU but it is not a stand alone option for us in the U.K.

It is part of an option pack.

Thanks for confirming! I was a little confused when I saw it on a lot of the reviews and sort of expected it in my car and then it wasn't there. Not a big deal in any way - but was curious if they somehow forgot it, or if I forgot to check off the box

That is one little detail I saw in the reviews that I was sad not to get here in Canada. 😕 I think they look great.

In Sweden it is an option at least on the 330e when I was ordering mine with the M-package I did not opt for it though

I've also noticed that the EU M340's I've seen in the reviews have M badges all over them, like right behind the front fenders. That's not on my US model 2020.

US models don't get the fender M. Strangely in Canada we do get them.
