To get a Model 3 with decent enough range and basic sat nav + decent hi-fi (ie. not the base model) is about £8k more than my 330e, in the UK. |

Model 3 barely exists here - and most certainly isn’t the choice for fleet market. That, and despite being fast... from first hand experience, Tesla’s absolutely honking to drive. |

Today's AutoExpress print magazine has 330e vs. S60 T8. Overall, the 330e had 4.5 stars vs. 3.5 stars and won the contest.
However, they complained about the ride of the 330e, claiming that it rolls and pitches more than the Volvo. |

I find it interesting that the 330e is the most talked about 3er on the G20 forum when on the F30 forum it seemed to be the 335d and 340i. Sign of things to come l guess.
I’m looking forward to BMW getting it’s act together and offering a much more comprehensive range of fully electric cars in the next few years. |

Which version of the 330e did they test? Did it have adaptive suspension?

Seems to me this review says they're pretty similar but given the Volvo costs £10k more the 3-series wins. Why Volvo puts a near 300BHP petrol engine in the T8 is beyond me, other than perhaps to get over the weight. Surprised the performance difference is so small (in the real world anyway) and that the fuel economy is similar, I'd have thought the BMW would have been quite a bit more efficient with less weight and (presumably) a more economical engine. I had the Volvo on my company car list but given price I had no room for ANY options and as standard it was missing some "must have" stuff (e.g. CarPlay)...didn't even bother trying it.... I doubt they'll sell many... |

Straight up M-Sport 330e in Mineral Grey with black leather. No options (sadly! It’s a company car)
