Laser light coding impressions

Can those of you who have coded your laser lights - back to the EU specs - share your impressions of the lights after coding? Impressed/ not impressed, like/dislike the anti-dazzle, are the lights any brighter?, etc. Thinking of doing it to my M340i, and would like to hear from others if they think it is worth it. Thanks.

Interesting as I was under the impression nobody was able to code the laser lights yet.

Almaretto has figured it out, and while I don't want to speak for him, he is able to code it - there is a thread in the G20 DIY and Coding Forum (I posted here rather than under that thread figuring there would be more viewers here).

I thought the actual parts are different. You would need to buy the whole headlight.

The laser lights are the same as the EU cars. When you get your purchase order, there is a line item for de-coding the anti dazzle capability. I did ED at the end of September, and my delivery guy laughingly stated that he loved it that BMW lists de-coding for the US on the purchase order. My car was supposed to be on its way to the US today on the Victoria Highway, but the ship is one day behind in arriving in Bremerhaven, it is arriving today, so hopefully it heads out tomorrow or Saturday. I am ready to get it back!

Jay, look at the thread in the DIY and Coding forum, and PM Almaretto for the details.

Prissy, my apologies, as I just looked at the laser coding thread in the DIY/Coding forum again and see you are in that thread. I didn't mean to tell you what you already know about the de-coding on the purchase order.
