Ordered a lip!

Finally, I've been searching for an OEM style lip and found this.... my trouble was finding someone that will ship to Canada. I'll let you know how it works out, should be here in a couple of weeks but thought I'd post it in case anyone is looking...

I'll post pics when I get it too.

eBay link

I got the lip in, pretty quick overall to be honest but it's missing pieces... dealing with the company now but because its an eBay international order they are waiting for eBay to get involved... pretty annoyed right now but I'll report back how it gets sorted.

The lip itself looks good, decent quality and gloss painted as the ad states.

I got the lip installed a couple of days ago, fit is great and it looks OEM. The company ended up having to ship me the missing pieces. Huge pain in the ass and a long story but they came through in the end. I'll post pics ASAP.... car is sitting in the garage right now as its snowing outside.

Thanks buddy! I get a feeling, looking at the lip that it's probably the same as the Ikon. They probably source from the same spot.

Fitment looks really good. I got the same design from IKON and I'm having fitment issues. Assuming you attached the center portion of the lip to the bumper with self tappers did it cause the sides of the lip (next to the wheel arch) to flare out? ...thats the issue I'm having and not sure if double sided tape is strong enough to keep the sides from bowing-out on mine. Any insight on your install process would be great.

I attached the sides using the OEM bolts underneath first, left them loose so I could get it set before tightening. After tightening the sides I used double sided tape on the centre part along with self tapping screws. I did notice that one side was worse than the other with flaring so I used double sided tape. I'm not sure how that will work long term as its cold here and the tape may not settle properly yet. Worse case scenario, I will redo the tape job when it warms up. I think it will hold just fine.

Sounds like chenry had similar issues with the wings sticking out but he just bent them in by hand which should be an option too.

I just happened to look at it and saw the glue from the double sided tape let go on one side. I think it's more of an issue with the cold. I put another piece and warmed it up a bit better this time.

Thanks for the insight. ...Would love to order this version if it fits better than the one IKON sent me. Please let us know how the tape holds or what you end up engineering?

The double sided tape seems to be holding it well... just make sure to heat it up and pinch for a few hours or a night and you should be good.

Love it; goes well with the Stormtrooper color scheme and those gorgeous wheels.

Are you planning to change the wing mirror colour? Black seems to blend nicely with the grill and wheels on the M Sport Pro Edition cars in the UK, although White isn't one of the colour options (only OG2, TB2 and DG), it definitely works IMO🤔

That does look very good For now, I'm going to just do the rear diffuser and possibly move to an exhaust... I really am considering the m performance exhaust next.
