BMW 330i xDrive lowered on Dinan springs

Aside from the car that Dinan_Engineering did development work on, I’m pretty sure my car is the first to be lowered on these springs. I have to say I love the drop, modest and more than enough for me as I have 2 kids that I tote around regularly. I’m also very impressed with the ride quality - I’ve owned cars lowered on H&R sport springs and KW V1 coilovers and these definitely have the most compliant ride. It could also have something to do with my car having the adaptive suspension as well but the ride is still quite comfortable. As for the handling, well, it's much improved. The car is absolutely planted in corners - I'm honestly in love. Anyone who's on the fence about lowering and is worried about sacrificing too much every day livability, this is your answer. I also have 12 MM spacers on the way for front and back - I ordered them and planned to install them along with the springs but for some reason the Turner spacers I ordered weren't hub centric. Anyway, enjoy the pics and apologies on the dirty car, tough to wash in single digit temps!!

Looks great, man! Not on the fence, I desperately want a set but Dinan_Engineering is taking their sweet time for the RWD model.

Did you do the bump stop kit as well?

They will.

The M340x and 330xi share the same springs.

So, how do these get along with the M Adaptive Suspension? Is there any extra wear and tear on the shocks/struts?

Looks absolutely awesome and I'm glad to hear the handling is even better!

Dinan has a spring application for the M340i xDrive. Different part number but same result

The beautiful thing is when paired with the supplemental ride handling kit that has new bump stops, the shock travel remains the same as stock, so no added wear on the shocks

What size tires are you running? They look a bit meaty.

Nice review! My set came in a few weeks ago but I'm waiting for my new wheels to come in next month before I install. Can't wait.

Do you find yourself scraping/bottoming out at all or having to angle out on big bumps and steep driveways?

Thanks! Not at all, it would have to be a pretty steep incline to scrape

That's correct. We have not had a M340i xDrive in shop to test. We have a 330i RWD coming in next week which will assist in crossing off variant #3 of the 4 (and one of the extremes of the group) but we are still missing the opposing extreme of the M340i xDrive. If anyone is in the Atlanta area (or SE in general) with that car please hit us up.

I will buy as soon as it's released. In MN or would lend my vehicle for development

So, these springs work for the 330i, 330i xDrive, and M340i applications? It would seem like a reasonable assumption they would work with an M340i xDrive as well.
