With this coding, if you select Bronze colour in the I drive settings, all lights will now be red.

Bronze has been removed, so Bronze becomes red and bronze and white becomes red and blue.

I have M8 CP.
I think that the library is different.
Maybe you know the value/byte?

This will not change the displayed colours shown in the I drive screen, but will replace your strips, door bins, map light and footwell light colours and orientations as indicated below.

This is my personal list which I use to re code my colours to my preference after each BMW software update. I have to code both 360A and 360D.

Works fine on my UK G20 running 07/20.54 software. Code at your own risk. Coding in expert mode can damage your car.

BDC module > Expert coding > 360A LicLciColorLibrary > LIC_LCI_COLOR_LIBRARY_DATA > G20G21G26G28G80_Lichtpaket_code1 (selected option) > Custom value

1. Original hex values:

Byte 18 - D7
Byte 19 - 6E
Byte 20 – 14

Byte 23 - D7
Byte 24 - 6E
Byte 25 - 14

Byte 28 - D7
Byte 29 - 6E
Byte 30 - 14

2. New hex values:

Byte 18 – FF
Byte 19 - 00
Byte 20 – 00

Byte 23 – FF
Byte 24 - 00
Byte 25 - 00

Byte 28 – FE
Byte 29 – 0A
Byte 30 – 0A

BDC module > Expert coding > 360D LicLciColorProfiles > LIC_LCI_COLOR_PROFILES_DATA > G20G21G26G28G80_Lichtpaket_code1 (selected option) > Custom value

1. Original hex values:
Byte 2 – 01 bronze
Byte 3 – 00 white

Byte 16 – 04 green
Byte 17 – 00 white

New hex values:
Byte 2 – 01 (Map Lights, Door handles, Door bins, Footwells) Now Red Colour
Byte 3 – 03 (Door / Dash strips) Now Blue Colour

Byte 16 – 03 (Map Lights, Door Handles, Door Bins, Footwells) Now Blue Colour
Byte 17 – 01 (Door / Dash Strips) Now Red Colour
With the original Byte values (18,19,20,23,25,25, etc.) do you know what values represent what part of the car?

I would like to make the Dash lights one color and the door handle lights another. I've seen it done before.

I really need cheat sheet too.

Please tell me how I can do that bellow.

What does this do?

For those with 330i it changes the live cockpit to the aggressive Ariel font used in M340. If you have an m340 the font in the 330i uses a standard Ariel like font vs the bold angular font in m340

Hi guys, quick question. I have received my ODB connector and started bimmercode. I have a G20 330i without laserlight but I thought it was possible to code the lights to flash a couple of times when pulling the high beam lever once. Does someone know the code/option?

Is there a way to get the "M" animation like on the iDrive on the instrument cluster when leaving the car? Mine has black and white "BMW' one now.

It goes to the M one if you use the M cluster.

The other sports modes are already configured by default to be comfort regular, comfort individual, etc. In my car comfort plus is already configured where as the only two that can be changed is the worldmodes1 which is for the the plus feature of each setting is. ie: comfort eco sports. So the only one thats needs to be configured is worldmode1's. I just only configured eco and sports world modes1 as comfort plus was already configured in the comfortwordmode1 .

So what does comfort+ do? I imagine it's just a bit more of an aggressive transmission adjustment and throttle response?
