It should be in the Apps menu but I have only CarPlay installed. I contacted my dealer and when they checked my car status in BMW:s system it says that my car still have the old software version 3/2020 installed so that was why I did't get the Android Auto option to my car.
Having an appointment with my dealer next week who will do a new full software update on my car. Fingers crossed that it work.

It might take a few days for it to show. When the dealer updated me to 7/2020 I had the same issue and doing everything, reconnecting my phone, resetting iDrive, power cycling iDrive, updating apps didn't do anything but around a week later it showed up. I think BMW's servers only get the info that your car is on a new version after a certain period of time and once they do you car will pull down Android Auto. If the dealer is saying your car is showing 3/2020 this looks like the case.

I have a 330e G20 from 10.2019 with software 11/2019.70 and it doesn't appear any update.
Is it normal? What can I do to force it?

My first update was about 10 month ago to 03/2020.40, hated the fact that nothing worked and all apps except 2 disappear from the menu, until I have done factory reset to activate upgrades.
Than upgrades worked fine, but reset wiped out the music collection from hard drive and all personal setting.
Now I have done bunch of coding on the car and next soft upgrade will wipe all that again.

in short unless there is an upgrade adding about 100 HP I'm not wasting my time just to get better personal assistant.

I got the upgrade notification for 11/2020.50. But when I try to start the update I gets the following message and the upgrade is cancelled . Does any has got similar scenario ?

Note: I have driven about 140 km up and down just to make sure the battery level is high enough for an update. Only towards the end of the journey I even got the notification to perform an upgrade .
And I tried to start the software upgrade twice but with same outcome ( I got the notification the second time after I drove it for a few more kilometers and parked it again ).

I am just wondering when did you receive the notification about availability for 11/2020.50 and where are you based?

I suspected that the first unsuccessful update may due to poor 4G signal required for downloading from the server.

I am in the UK with G20 318d still with 07/2020.54 and waiting for OTA notification (if it works)... If it is not, I may need to visit my dealer ...

I downloaded the 11/2020 to my iPhone and uploaded it to my M340 this weekend. But the iDrive still says I will be noticed when the update will start.
The other updates, in 2020, has worked fine with no delays. But .......

The most common cause of this issue is the battery not being fully charged. Plugging the trickle charger for a night usually does the trick

Software 11/2020.50 installed on my U.K. spec. M340i today without any issues.

11/2020 seems to be rolling out broadly overseas now. I do not believe this update is being remotely pushed yet to cars in the US. Keep in mind if you have done any coding, the software update will wipe the coding out! If your DME is unlocked, it will most likely re-lock as well and require another bench unlock.

I'm here in California and just received the request to update to 11/20.50. In no hurry to do this one since I've coded my car and seems like there's not really any big benefits.

I wouldn’t rush! Only reason I went for it was to see what the Alexa integration is like and it broke after a day! Looks like something at the BMW end as numerous people have the same issue.

Not available in the US, only a small handful of countries with the 11/20 update. May come in a future update.

You need to configure the Amazon integration via the MyBMW app and then enable 3rd parties in the Voice Control in the car.

Yep and that's the rub and why we in the US don't have Alexa yet. I'm in the same boat; I have 11/2020.45 and don't see a reason to wipe my coding..

Just did an ota update to 11.2020.50 and the one thing I noticed is that the climate control rules for the heated steering wheel disappeared.
