I think njfoses can verify however that while the percentage seems high it isn't nearly as stiff as you may expect and retains comfort. Trying to get the exact percentage from engineering but the comment was made that they are softer then the previous generation 3 series by a good margin which were quite a bit softer then the E9x chassis before it. Definitely a trend...

THE DATA:
In stock trims---
Compared to F30 335i, the G20 330i RWD is:
Front is 32% softer
Rear is 25% softer

Compared to F30 340i, the G20 330i RWD is:
Front is 34% softer
Rear is 23% softer
Dinan_Engineering I gather then that the Dinan springs are slightly stiffer than the Msport (non adaptive) springs?
Yes— roughly 30% stiffer then the m-sport stuff.

I wasn't looking for a very aggressive drop as this is my daily and i have to transport my toddler daughter and wife on occasion. The ride is stiffer as previously mentioned but not what i would consider uncomfortable. Overall i am very satisfied.

It appears the springs are the same for 330i RWD, 330i xDrive, and M340i RWD?

Correct. The only unconfirmed model is the M340i xDrive.

It seems likely they would fit an M340i xDrive given they fit every other G20 variant...

I would buy them if they did but pretty sure Dinan won't confirm that. Prob a liability and/or developing separate one for awd

Physically they would fit. The question though is if the drop and/or ride would be acceptable. The M340i xDrive would be an extreme of the bunch (330i RWD is the other). The big concern for us is the same springs would probably produce a reverse rake on the vehicle which obviously no one wants. Until we can physically test and properly validate them though we would not advertise them. Again, our guess though is that vehicle will probably require different front springs.

njfoses You did get the supplemental kit installed at the same time right?

Fresh of the lift. Dinan spring and Bumpstops + 10mm spacers upfront.

Car rides better than stock. Less garring and crashing over bumps when compared to factory sportline suspension. Install was a pain, I do not recommend you do it in a driveway or a lift. You'll need a screw jack and room. Little disappointed in the spacers arriving marred, but that's ok. Overall a very satisfied client and glad I waited for these.

About a two-finger gap all around.

Dinan

I'm really impressed with these springs. The ride is amazing! The handling has improved - no placebo. Less skipping along or getting unsettled over bumps. Dinan hit it out of the park! I'm also impressed with the factory shocks. They support and supplement the springs really well. I was really concerned that I would destroy ride quality, as I'm usually a coilover type of guy.

3 more from today.

TheDudeMan Looks great!

Dinan_Engineering Do you know the shipping weight of the springs? You guys do not ship overseas so I'm trying to figure out a way to get them to me.

Drop me a DM if I can help - you could have Mike at X-PH.com ship the springs for free to me here in California (no tax either) and then if you send me a mailing label I'd slap it on the box and drop it off for shipping to you.

Over the years I've done this for a couple other forum members who are outside of the US for various things

Thanks for the offer! I may have something figured out, so looking into that option for now. Will definitely get in touch with you if things don't work out.

I searched but did not find a definitive answer, do you have lowering springs which would fit a 2021 330e xdrive? Thanks.

Review

Have had the springs and bumpstops installed for a couple weeks now, I dont have the adaptive suspension and on 19" ps4s, the ride feels the same over normal roads but its almost unbearable over bumps, the car became incredibly stiff, but the performance benefit arguably negates the harshness, the car is so much more stable and flat around corners and body roll is close to nonexistent, whether the significantly worse ride is worth the improvement is personal taste, I believe with the adaptive suspension it would be perfect.
