I think that's a good question due to them shifting the start of production around a lot.

I assume they don't want to launch both the iX and the i4 at the same time, so who knows which one (or even the 4er GC) is first. But as the iX seems to start production earlier, it's probably also the first to be launched.

Maybe we'll get a "final production body" preview like for the iX at some point before the final launch (and the iX/4er GC launch).

Just when you think the grille can't get any uglier, and it just did with that illumination.

The shape of this car looks nice, sleek. I think it will borrow from the iX and end up looking similar in design

I like it for what it is. It looks like an EV and looks like the future.

I was hoping for a BMW sports car EV that is designed for driving. This looks like it emphasizes tech and luxury. I would take the Taycan over this every time.

Im a fan of these, looking forward to seeing more in time. I can also see this being a little too much to some but in time may slowly bring that demo over. Prime example is the M3/M4 everyone and I mean everyone was hating on that and now if you follow the threads you can see there def is a strong shift happening. Its the initial shock I think bc its sometime new, but we will see!

That’s very well said. If you want to sell sedans these days, you better come up with something extraordinary and polarizing.

They also both feature an ugly trend where the fenders are squared off and doesn't match the wheel cut outs. Seriously not a fan of the fat hatchback design.

Yup, that to me is one of the defining style features on the iX that just doesn't make it look good. Instead of it looking muscular it has the opposite effect

Face is ugly, the new badge is... fade... no personality... love the original one

The guy moved so much around that gives you headaches...
A single guy with no one around him and wears a mask....
To protect the vehicle i guess?

What the world has become...

It does - I actually quite like the look of the RAV for what it is. The squared off guards are an old Toyota design cue, so it suits the RAV fine.

The BMW - not so much.
