What kind of non-runflat tires did your car come with?
This question is obviously geared towards those of you that wanted to get higher performance tires. I haven't looked at the options for the regular G20 and G22 series but in the case of the M340i I had to opt for the Cooling and High Performance Tire Package (ZTK) to avoid the runflats. Kind of sad that is the only way to go about it unless you of course buy a whole new set of tires yourself.
In any case, I'm keeping my fingers crossed my car comes equipped with the PS4s! Just wondering what other tire it may come with if I'm unlucky. |

When I got mine there was an option for non run flats. Although 18 months ago my 330i came with..... Wheels 19” M light alloy Double-spoke style 791 M wheels, Bicolour, Jet Black. Front 8j x 19 with 225/40 R19 Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S (Performance). Rear 8.5j x 19 with 255/35 R19 Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S (Performance).

This thread seems to ask specifically about those of us who have ZTK.
I do and mine came with PS4S.

It's possible to get 19" non run-flat without ZTK on an M340i with option 1PV:
1PV - 19" M Double-spoke cerium grey wheels, style 792M w/high perf. non runflat See discussion: https://g20.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1778721 1PV without ZTK will add 300 (Space-saver spare). This is what I've ordered, and I'm hoping to get PS4S as well. (There also seems to be an 18" with non run-flats as well - 1PE.) |

Avoid run flats at all cost, there's no reason to do a custom order and select RF. They're terrible, overpriced, lousy for spirited driving. My car came from out of state and I was foolish enough to assume Summer tires since the car came from TX. After upgrading to MP4S's, it's been night and day. Traction galore in wet and dry and all this at a cheaper price point.

What's interesting is that the order sheet has '1PE' as the 18 inch 225 size all around. However, on tire rack when you enter 18 inch rims, it has 225 front and 255 rear as the only factory 18 inch option available.
