I'm trying to remove the stock inlet tube for the Dinan intake and I've run into this crimp clamp.
Suppose to cut it but I'm not sure where and how. Never encountered one of these horrible little devils before.
It's probably easier than I'm making it out to be but I don't want to mangle anything. Lol

Find a wide enough flat head and insert and wedge.first in that center section and then move outward and then it will break.

By wedge I mean insert and then turn the flathead so it opens up the clamp. Poor choice of words on my part

this helped me a lot when installing the MST intake - skip to about 3:30 ::

also please post sound clips when done - I probably would have gone Dinan, just didn't want to wait :-)

Installed. Going to run some errands to see how she sounds. Post some results later.

Hi BobTheBimmer , do you know the BMW OEM part number for this one-time use clamp? In case one wants to go back to the stock intake.
