'24 M340i wheel options

I'll be ordering a 2024 M340i shortly. One item I'm unsure of, is whether to get 18" or 19" wheels. The 19" look great of course, but in the Boston area roads can be tough. How much more prone are the 19's to tire damage vs the 18's? Is there any difference in driving feel? Any preference vs all-season and performance?

Thank you.

I won’t get 19” if driving on bad roads. I damaged 2 tires within 6 months of purchase over potholes — driving no more than 40mph. So go figure. You’re probably better off with 18” for practical reasons IMO. I went with 19” because our roads are relatively good; but more importantly for the aesthetics.

My choice. Fairly rare. 18” staggered, summer, performance……with a dedicated set of winter wheels and tires. Best of both worlds and in the winter you’ll be able to go anywhere.
