From what i experienced. It will take about 1 month to 1 1/2 month from the end of production to delivering it to your dealership.

Mine completed production on April 14th and was put on a ship on or around May 1st. It came to Baltimore on 14th May. It is now sitting at VPC in Baltimore for 3 days now and i think it will be at my dealership by end of next week.

What spec did you go for? All your options made it onto the car?

My Status still says At the port . So, i just called BMW Genius and found out it was released to a carrier yesterday it self and waiting for a carrier to pick it up and estimated dealer delivery date is 21st May.

Mine is in the same exact state but my CA texted me that is is on a carrier and will be delivered to the dealership on Saturday 5/20. He has scheduled my pickup for Monday 5/22 at 3:00 PM EDT.

A few questions on deposits.

Should I wait to give the dealer the deposit until after they actually have the allocation for my 2024 M440i GC X-Drive? If giving the deposit makes the dealer move quickly to get an allocation great...but if they don't and move very slowly...or not at all...I want to be able to shop other dealers.

I absolutely need the car in October so when I order in July I need that dealer to get an allocation.

What is the best way...give deposit upfront when you spec the car...or wait until he has the allocation?

I think that giving the money upfront is the best way because after you put a deposit you are next in line for the allocation.

What if you didn’t put a deposit in and searching at other dealerships. What if somebody else came and put some money as deposit then they would be first in line. Unless you have good relationship with your the dealer.

Sometimes dealer don’t even know when they will receive allocation for this particular vehicle.

Got a text from my CA that my car had arrived at the dealership. I went down and was able to find it parked in front of the building. It is dirty but looked great. The Tanzanite Blue Metallic looked great and the metallic in it was fantastic.

Delivery scheduled for Monday 5/22 at 3:00 PM

I am financing about $10000 just to get the $500 off. I plan on paying $8000 on the first payment and then the remaining over the next 5 months to minimize the amount of interest on the loan.

I was given 5.99% which seems to be a good rate. My bank's best was 6.12%. My credit rating is about 840 so I should qualify for the best rates.

I just spoke with BMW about financing options they gave 5.99% as interest rate.

My bank actually quoted me 4.74% after automatic payments and six years loan term.

I said same thing to them and they lowered the interest rate to 4.99%.

But i still went my own bank because BMW couldn’t match my bank and term time.

For me this means lower payments.

My car went from "Assembly in progress" to "Quality checks" in the last 5 minutes. Hope the progress keeps going like this.

A buddy ordered a M3 Competition and the dealer told him 12-15 months!

They do not have an allocation but it is estimated to have one in April since they are a high volume dealer.

The status updated on 23rd May to 152 (paint shop started).
Now estimated delivery date to the dealership is the week of 12th June.

Better that my original delivery date which was mid July!

Anyone experienced the production/delivery completing sooner than predicted?

Are the recent M440 gran coupes being delivered with all the options on?

Haha, our cars must be side by side Mine went into the paint booth the same time. And yup, also seeing production/delivery much faster than expected. Car started production a few days after the order was received (May 10th). I was initially told to expect July delivery but June feels likely.
