I received my production # on 8/10, VIN on 9/15 and have a prod date of 9/26. I'll have a short transit to Tx so we expect it in October.

Thanks!
You got your VIN before production started? I have a production number (scheduled to begin next week according to BMW Genius) but no VIN. I assume the car will be assigned a VIN when production begins?

Trying to calculate when/if I need to extend my lease on my current car. The dealer expects December… I wonder if different builds take longer (ie added M Suspension or surround sound stereo or …??)

So I was scheduled build week 36,then 37, then 38, and finally got a VIN on 9/15/22 with production date of 9/24/22 but then this week my production date moved to 9/26/22 so now I'm build week 39.

Si expect delays, right?
Great you have a VIN assigned! Means production will begin soon. It looks like builds are taking 5-7 weeks once in production. So you are looking at a Nov delivery (fingers crossed)

The (US) feds keep raising interest rates so I'm hoping for less delays (almost willing to go down there and help the Mexican workers &#129299

I'm hoping I get my car in October but I'm just across the water in TX. 2 days on boat but who knows how long at each port.

Hopefully everyone who had cars on the ground picked them up before today, they just issued a 330e stop sale. The delivery stop is regarding the "eDrive zones" and affects all the 330e's built from August 3rd through September 20th. Wondering what the issue is, no additional info from BMW yet, just says "remedy is under investigation".

Hopefully, my guess is that it should just be a quick software update. Fingers crossed though, I'm just glad I took delivery before this.

The stop sale is probably what the "Special identification 2" is on my build list that just popped up today. Production date 9/24 so technically not within the date range but probably still affected.... ugh.

My 330e flipped to assembly in progress today, so fingers crossed that issue is resolved (or, fixable via software)

My 330e was built in mid August. I ordered it around May14th. It arrived at the dealer on Thursday Sept 22nd. I had arranged to pay and pick up car on Sept 23rd. On way there they called me to say there is a stop sale on my car. Just great. I sold my old car so now I have no transportation. I called bmw genius and they told me it was software update needed for edrive zones. They said update not even developed yet. Most likely at least 2 weeks. Anyone hear anything more?

Is there a confirmed source for this? My 330e is currently "ready for transport"

Here is a screenshot of the bulletin I was sent, and verified with my service department that my VIN has stop sale attached to it. Hopefully they develop a fix soon so the cars can be delivered. It is likely software by the sound of it, could be done at the VPC or at the dealer when the car arrives if that is the case.

Well, unfortunate and fortunate update today. "eDrive zones" bulletin became "Rearview Camera". No fix expected until November and affects more models than originally said.

Center Infotainment Display I believe. Nothing wrong with mine so far. From what I have gathered this is just some regulatory requirement that very occasionally it won't show the backup camera when it has to by law. Hopefully your car isn't affected, I would check with your sale center or service center for a stop sale. Seems to affect most cars with iDrive 8, even year old i4's.

I order the same car which was manufactured in San Luis Potosi, It started production on August 1st, 2022, and was actually delivered to me last week on September 19, 2022. so it took about 8 weeks.

I am in Houston Texas by the way!
