Best Car I have Owned So far

For my preference and budget, this is the perfect car. It's an awesome balance of comfort and sport. I'm just afraid the bar is too high now and will need an M car next.

I will agree with your statements! To be honest I'm not 100% certain I would want to daily a G80, I'm sure it would be a blast, but the raw nature design might be a little much.

This is a really good car and does everything well for a daily.

I would not daily a G80 due to many reasons (been there done that) so my hope is that BMW will continue make similar cars to M340 and of course eventually switch over to electric.

G82 would of been nice to have as a weekend car but looks are just equally important to me and I would never consider owning a G8X due to obvious reasons.

Great choice ! Cant go wrong with a clean Alpine White M340i.

The B58 is a great engine - I keep "borrowing" my brothers 21 M340i till I get my hands on mine later this year and cant say enough good things about the engine and the transmission - also BMW has done a super job with the tech - something they lacked in previous generations.

Unless you plan on tracking your car you won't get to use the G80/82 how it's supposed to be used. It's meant for harder track driving. I wouldn't turn down an M3 but I'll probably just tune the G20 and call it a day. M cars are too expensive right now. I can't see myself paying 1200+ for a car note
