Instrument Screen Brightness
You would think after a few months of ownership I would rum out of initial questions.......
Sorry but here's one more....... Am I missing something. I've turned the screen brightness down in the display settings. But at night it's still quiet bright so I've turned it down with the thumbwheel but that then dims the illumination of the buttons on the steering wheel such that there difficult to see. Any tips? |

It's pretty easy with Bimmercode, just pay attention to what you are changing and take notes in case you want to change things back: Bimmercode does have an automatic backup built-in but it always pays to be careful. As to warranty, allegedly BMW can detect any coding changes however whether the dealer will care or notice is up for debate.
