My definition of "asshole driver" is someone who weaves in and out of traffic, narrowly missing cars in the process. I refuse to do this. This isn't a track, and people could get hurt very easily when doing this.

Driving fast? No issues there.

Damn right, I was cruising happily and this Q50 starts tailing me and then suddenly goes all the way outside the right shoulder on the highway, creating a smoke of dust and probably redlined his engine just to overtake me, then with 2 minutes, poor thing got stuck in another lane trying the same stunt with some other car

I find that the slower cars are the true a-holes. New corolla's, the disgusting Toyota Scamry, new crap box hyundai's and of course the Q50 types. These wankers continuously try to cut me off, disregard for road work signs etc. Flying by me doing 100 plus in a 70 MPH zone where there is construction. I freaking despise these types, complete morons who have no clue as to what they're driving.

Just last week I was within city limits and one in a Lexus NX300 proceeded to fly by as if the 45 MPH I was doing is slowing him down. Next we get on the highway, I pull away from him and go in far left lanes. A few minutes later he starts coming again, tailing etc so I let him pass. Once I got a clear chance I lay the hammer down he couldn't catch me again till I exited. How dumb does one have to be to think they can outrun me in a 4000 plus pound suv with 245hp. This is South Florida for you....

Last night, I was in an open stretch of road, and a Toyota Celica (remember those?) pulls up beside me at a light. He rolls down the window and says "Nice ride. What engine does that have?" I tell him about the B58 straight 6. I ask what he's got. He says "I've got a super charger."

I'm thinking "Oh this is going to be fun..."

I pull away slowly, and so does he. Bear in mind, this dude has an aftermarket boost gauge in his driver side A-pillar. We get up to about 40, and I hear him down shift once.... twice... three times, and I'm thinking "Ok, here we go."

He floors the throttle and starts to pull away.

So I decide to floor the throttle as well... and walk him like he's standing still. I decided to slow down once I had pulled 2 car lengths on him. It didn't take long...

He did a U-turn at the next intersection without saying a word to me.

Some B**ch in a Corolla kept tailgating me on the highway. I was already going 90 which is the new Covid speed limit in the Bay Area apparently. So she's riding my ass and I see her flipping me off in the rear view and tries to pass me by flooring it. When she gets side by side I floor it and leave her 20 car lengths back. Shit like this makes me look like the asshole but I don't care . I hate people like that. I slow down and get out the fast lane and here she comes flying up on my ass again now in my lane. So I just slow down to 65 flip her off and mash off. I lost her by that point. I really hate people sometimes

The ppl in the camrys are a special breed, thinking they got a top of the line sports car. Look like straight clowns, I'm like dude, you driving a fuckin camry why would anyone want to entertain a race with you. Fuckin wankers.

I have a disdain for the camry hence the name "Scamry" it's illegitimate lol. I don't know what the sales people are telling their customers but the corolla and scamry driver's just seem to think they're driving something uber-special, narcissistic bunch.

Toyota on a whole does some questionable marketing as well as the Koreans lol touting how special their cars are.Their marketing are always pure hype, you don't see BMW running ads saying how great the M340i is or that it's track capable etc. While likes of Lexus does for the IS, they'll mention even the bolt type used on the chassis, touting car being tested on their in house track etc. Sometimes the ads are borderline cringe-worthy. I saw ads from Kia touting how their K5 sedan is a better performer than a 330i, almost fell out of my chair. Therefore, it's no surprise that their driver's believe the hype. Who knew a K5 owner now shops a 330i.

For some reason BMW's has always been the brand to hate especially the 3 Series, maybe it's because it's the true icon and only fell from grace last gen. Just like we experience in life, there are some people who hate those that are successful and the 3 series is BMW's bread and butter. It's the car all others tried to emulate and most have lost to this day since they still can't manage to topple it in sales.

Couldn't agree any more. The ads I see always compare shitboxes to either Mercedes or BMWs, probably why the typical car buyer then thinks the are at a competing level with these cars. If you notice how some of these car manufacturers blatantly even design their models to look similar to the luxury cars is pathetic. I can't remember what crap I've been seeing lately on the road but it looks exactly like a Mercedes C-class... another example is if you recall the genesis (don't even know what model it is) but it looks like an identical s-class from all angles, regardless if Genesis is considered "luxury"?

Going from a F30 328i(8+ yrs) to the current G20, my verdict is that F30 is far from ungraceful .

F30 is indeed softened to appeal to the mass, and yet hugs the corners/curves just as previous gen if the drive trusts the stock(even non-sport) suspension enough.

Having said that, G20's lift-related dampers plus further stiffened chassis for sure brings back the nostalgic supple ride and tout handling from the E39/E46 days.

Can't tell you how many times I've encountered absolute asshats driving F30s and wanting to apparently show off that they can drive like idiots when they spot my M340i. It actually embarrasses ME when this happens though I'm not the douche in that scenario.

Yesterday I did get tailed by a Miata(probably 2020/2021) around a 1-lane 270-degree flyover while doing 50mph(suggested 35?), so I built a few car lengths in the straights and let him flew to the left by 100+mph.

Just a few miles down I saw the Miata barreled into another mini-cockscrew connector braking hard and smoking. I carefully entered the same connector and expected seeing a wreck, but the Miata did make it.

In my area the biggest douches are the diesel truck guys. Generally the bigger the diameter the exhaust (i.e. semi truck exhaust) and the louder the turbo the worse they'll drive. Double if they are rolling coal which some of them will dump on nicer cars on purpose.

People probably think I'm a douchey BMW driver since I'll try to get away from stop lights quickly so I can be away from everyone weaving in and out of their lanes since they are eating, putting on make-up, making a Tik-Tok, whatever.

OK that curve's speed limit is 25, but most do around 35-40, so I did go a bit above flow of traffic.
