Hey everyone,

Looks like RealOEM.com just posted parts diagrams for the M340i: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/part...G20-BMW-M340iX

Curious to see what people will find. I'm poking around myself.

Wow that is quite a bit larger than the F30 M Sport 335/340 oil cooler.

Perfect, I see the shadow line parts for the front and rear that I have been looking for. Great find.

Looks like the exhaust isn't a recycled MPPSK part, it's an entirely new system:
M340i exhaust
F30 MPPSK exhaust

Wow yea, radically different design. but seems to have the same core element, integral flaps to the main exhaust. However, with the addition of another flap on the right exhaust.

if anyone has experienced MPPSK... cold start is LOUD, probably too loud for a casual buyer considering this exhaust has to support a much broader audience
maybe this is to give essentially 3 levels of exhaust?
-Cold start 1 pipe
-warmed up 2 pipes (normal mode, behavior like current 340 exhaust)
-sport mode internal flaps open (LOUD MODE)

Are we looking at the same picture? Where do you see integral flaps to the main exhaust? I only see the standard flap on one side.

I am not 100% sure but this was how I looked at it....

The description for part 2 on the M340 says exhaust with flap which is consistent with the mppsk which features multiple flaps. My assumption is the actuators are on m340 are internal like mppsk (on mppsk you can't order any actuators, failed flaps call for full replacement)

Using that logic I assumed a multiflap system

Good catch, I missed that detail when I looked at it. So besides the usual flap in one of the tailpipes the muffler has at least 1 more flap inside.

So what about the steering rack? Same as G20 330i or the one from the F30?

I already checked. No part numbers shown at all for the M340i steering rack.

It should, according to the BMW parts catalog. I have this grill arriving on Monday. My car arrives at the port tomorrow. As soon as I get the car I will let you know if the grill fits.

If it doesn't fit I will have a shadow-Line grill to sell to a 330i owner

Yeah, odd that they're not showing the part numbers for any G20s yet.

It's better to use https://bimmercat.com (the former etk.cc). It has a slightly newer version of the catalog and can easily do things like show everything changed by the Motorsport Engineering Package (option 33T): https://bimmercat.com/bmw/EN/search/...ce/60522/S33TA

Though the steering rack part is still not there (and not in the April catalog either).

So the real question is
Are 330i grilles and M340i grilles interchangeable?
