I think you either love the new M340i grills or you hate them. I am among the former and think they look pretty nice. But for those who don't agree, I think it's a pretty easy fix.

I don't personally own this vehicle or an M340i yet (I am waiting for BMW to get all of the kinks out of first year production, specifically iDrive 7.0), this was just one of the M340i's at my local dealer that I took pics of.

I really don't understand the hate for the G20. Think about it from a far as someone who isn't really into cars and is just driving on the road.
To them the G20 pulling up next to them will look like any other older model BMW from the front. Even though the grille is bigger I doubt they notice and even if they do so many car manufacturers have bigger grilles these days. Yes the rear tail lights are a bit of a change but that's no big deal. Just about every car brand changes the rear tail lights with a new model. I do wonder if these tail lights will be like the E90 and the 5 series BMW in the late 2000s where they were retired afterwards. TLDR: No point of picking apart the car so much. The average person is going to think it looks like any other BMW of the past if not better. Last edited by ar2020; 04-30-2019 at 08:32 AM.. |

M340i Interior
Here are some interior pics from my AW/Mocha M340i.
The quality has REALLY stepped up a notch from the F30, but there are some questionable hard plastics still around. If you haven't already ordered, I'd highly consider the open-pored wood trim options over the aluminum. It's free and higher grade. |

The MSRP of this build is $64k. It has pretty much every option save for the Adaptive M Suspension and Executive Package.
I think if you are still considering which options, you should 'future proof' as much as possible and get all the parking and driving assistance tech |

Even if all the hardware is there, I'm still having trouble picturing BMW charging money (post-purchase) for autonomous driving upgrades. I figured they'd just leave the old models in the dust to entice people to just get new cars at the end of their 3 year leases. I'll be glad if BMW proves me wrong though. |

The E92 doesn't look like a Lexus. This new 3 has distinct Lexus cues, especially from the rear. Don't take it personal.
