Usb charging stops after a min or so
Did have a search but nothing relevant. I do not use the wireless pad on long drives with waze as the phone almost melts.
May be my phone but but the USB and USB c points start charging my phone but then stop after a minute or so. Tried cables that work fine in other USB sockets and chargers just seems to be the car? Galaxy s20 plus for reference. Anyone had this? Cheers |

Go into the phone settings - Battery and device care.
Make sure your charging boxes are ticked and test to see that the charging status has changed. I used an S20 Ultra 5g in the 330e with no problems. |

I also have this, S21. Restart my phone and it fast charges normally in the car, but only once. Next time will stop after a minute then just trickle charge/run down.
New cable made no difference. As it is fixed on a restart assume its just my phone and have been living with it. 320d Msport Pro for reference. |

Forgot to add. I went I to developer on mine and set the phone usb port to default to charge. Idrive now states device is unrecognised but now charges fine. Android auto etc via Bluetooth works as expected still.
