Wtb: 330i xdrive vs 330i rwd
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com I am looking to get 330i x drive portimao blue m sport almost every option ( laser, adaptive, 19” wheels, HK,driving assistant plus, except parking assistant plus) it is 2021 with around 15000 miles it is close to 50000 eur ( 57000 usd) Previously i was looking 330i rwd, and by looking the specs, xdrive is a bit faster on start and accelration from 80-120km/h and a bit alower on xdrive due to added weight. In our country we have so so cold winters, usualy not a lot of snow days but it can be for a few days Is xdrive generaly worth it on 330i overall and will i notice few seconds differences in accelerations compared to rwd The other option is to add 5000 eur more and get lower spec m340i ( without lasera and other staff ) and 2020 m340 but registration cost is even 1000 more each year compared to a 330i, and this will be beyond my budget. Or i can find some older 330i (2019) Thanks, |

I can't speak for winter driving in our RWD 330i, but I can say that it is pretty tail-happy even in summer weather. xDrive is one of the better AWD systems out there for sporty driving, so I would say to go for it if you are driving in snow often. On the other hand, you don't need it, strictly speaking. I guess it depends on what you plan to do with the car or what sort of driving experience you want.
Also, that 330i looks very similar to ours... Ours is Portimao Blue with the same wheels, though it looks like yours has the Extended Shadowline (on the grille and mirror caps)... If it were me, I'd snap that car up for its specification alone!
