M style mirror caps on Mineral Grey Metallic

Looking to replace my stock mirror caps on my 2022 330i in Mineral Grey Metallic with shadow line trim. Having a hard time deciding between gloss black and carbon fiber m style caps. The only other carbon fiber I have on my car is the m performance spoiler. I also have the m performance side skirts, front lip, and rear diffuser that are all gloss black. Anyone with a similar color car change out their mirror caps to one of these? Would love to hear everyone’s thoughts!

I think either looks great. There is sometimes such a thing as too much carbon fiber, however that is subjective so I personally prefer my carbon fiber m style mirrors vs the gloss black.
I’ve included two images of my car, one with a cf front lip and what I have now, gloss back front lip, to give you an idea on the contrast of cf mirror caps.

Those look great on yours! Where did you get the mirror caps from?

Autotecknic. High quality, fitment is great. Never had any issues after 1.5 yrs of them installed. I had my shop apply PPF to the caps as well so it does help keep them protected from chipping and/or yellowing.

Hey man. Some jerk scraped my right otherwise like new mirror cap so I’m looking to replace it without have to pay a fortune for a painted replacement (which I can only find sold in pairs online) or an unpainted / primed one that would need painting.

If your right cap is mint and you are able to remove it without damaging the connectors / clips, I’d be willing to buy it. Let me know!

I got mine from Infinite Autowerks. I got the full g8x conversion which comes with the front gloss black winged pieces. I am very sensitive to wind noise and IAW told me the G8x oem design is quieter than the M design that just works with the M340 mirror housings. so they send you the front and rear pieces which is why it costs more. all oem for the other pieces so fit is 100%.

they have a few different options and all excellent quality. have had mine for a year and they look perfect still. no ppf on them, just ceramic coated. also got all my other carbon from them. fit and finish is oem like or better even.
