BMW CCA membership vehicle discount rules are changing 1/1/2020
https://www.bmwcca.org/vehicle_rebate
Saw this on the X3 sub. The vehicle rebate for the 3 year term changes starting 1/1/2020 so that you have to be a member for 6 months. So if you are taking delivery and havent bought it for instant rebate, buy it in the next 2 days |

What happens if I've ordered a new G20 but don't have the VIN yet? Should I just enter the VIN of my current 335i? First time joining the CCA and getting the rebate here.

I just bought it and saw that my join date is 01/01/2020 and I tried to print card and the member since date is also 01/01/2020...is this ok or it might get my rebate application declined due to the new policy?

Do I have to pay anything to BMW CCA? It let me sign up but didn’t ask for a VIN number while doing so. Neither did they ask me to pay anything.

Just to clarify a couple of questions here about BMW ownership and BMW CCA membership. Unlike Porsche Club of America (PCA), you do not have to own a BMW nor provide a BMW VIN to join. Membership is available to anyone who lives in the United States. BMW CCA is a member of the International BMW Clubs and there are BMW clubs available if you live in other countries.
If you own a BMW or plan on owning a BMW the membership is well worth the cost, as low as $48/year. All of the benefits, including the rebate program, parts and service discounts from participating dealers (including online), the excellent Roundel magazine, and more are all listed on the home page at www.bmwcca.org. If you click on "Join Now" you will be presented with a web form to fill out. After filling out the form, click "Submit" to continue with your membership application. You will eventually be presented with a page to choose the length of membership you want and provide a credit card to pay.
