I intend to lower and widen the stance on my G22. I’ve also decided that I want a set of M795’s, not decided black or grey yet. With that in mind I took some measurements of the present stance.

At present the 19” wheels/tyres sit @50mm from the wheel arch, with a drop of @25mm from the springs and an addition of @12.7mm from 20” wheels, this would give a clearance of around 12-13mm tyre to wheel arch (though I’ve not taken into account the tyre profile yet), this is front measurements. The rears are the same so I’m not expecting any problem on that.

Spacers would be 15 rear, 12 front.

Has anyone got a similar set up and does it compromise steering or is there any rub in the wheel arch area?

I read back @25 pages of forum posts last night, learned loads but nothing specific re this
