Where do I find the amp in a 2020 m340i?

Looking to add a new amp but trying to find out where the original is.

I checked under the panel and nothing. Do you actually have to remove the trunk liner?

Yes, you need to remove the trunk liner on the left (driver) side to access the amp/ram.

If you're planning on adding an aftermarket amp/sub I created a write up on how this is done. You'll see it posted on this forum.

If you want to power the existing speakers with a more powerful amp suggest going with match up7 as it's closest to plug and play available on G20.
