Random dash lights on when locked

Just been out and whilst walking past the car noticed a few random parts of the dash are lit up. Hazard warning lights button, the little screen that normally displays temperature/fan is lit up with a little picture of a fan in it, and the cluster of buttons for the lights. All lit up.

Is that normal when the car is locked and charging? Never noticed it on the 320d I had.

Mine isn’t doing that but then it’s not on charge. Seems odd for that to be a normal state of affairs.
