I think you were pretty clear from the start that it was the end even for Canadian market. I just had hope since Mercedes is offering the C-Class Wagon in Canada but not in USA. And that when there is a Mercedes in a certain segment Bmw is never far behind.

I asked bmw canada last year and they said it was on the table. Guess they changed their minds. Dumb dumb dumb.
Now the question is, do I trade in my 440 GC for a 2018-9 328d touring? There's a few that are available in my area and it's tempting. But, given that a) its a diesel and b) it's a completely discontinued model...would I be shooting myself in the foot? (Resale value wise) I've also never been a fan of diesels...although, I hear they've gotten much better over the years. |

For resale, being one of the last cars of a type is only a plus. Make it even more unique by ordering M Sport and Track. |

That being said, touring looks great on these last pics. Can't wait to see it without the camouflage. Last edited by Calamari; 03-13-2019 at 08:09 AM.. |

Although it may be still for nought - BMW Australia is yet to confirm whether we'll see the G21 downunder. Tony |

We can only speculate why G21 release didn't happen in Geneva. It seems that BMW decided to put focus on it's hybrid versions, because "e" models got the biggest publicity on their stand. If we consider this in the light of Tesla Model 3 just coming to EU market this month, it's a perfectly reasonable move to attract buyers that are considering electric/hybrid cars this year. It's very likely that G21 was postponed because "e" models were prioritized for this q1 of 2019. Last edited by Calamari; 03-13-2019 at 08:15 AM.. |
